Blowers >> Assumption R.C. Church, Ansonia, CT |
At the same time as they were building the world's largest organ for Atlantic City's Convention Hall, Midner-Losh was also building this large-scaled, moderate to high pressure, 4 division instrument. The original 10 hp blower was by Kinetic. Ongoing issues with its shaft and more yet with its fans brought the decision to replace rather than rebuild this large blower. |

When we first saw this organ the air leakage, blower noise and shaft vibration made using soft stops futile. Foley-Baker totally removed and rebuilt the organ in 1999. Today, a console indicator light is the only evidence that the organ is running. |
