Experience and Dedication
People Who Care About Their Craft
Foley-Baker, Inc., opened in 1968 and was
conceived as a service business for all types of keyboard
instruments. Impetus was on pianos and we quickly grew
to a staff of seven maintaining nearly a thousand pianos
throughout Connecticut’s homes, theatres, schools
and churches. By 1984 a building was purchased and the
staff enlarged. Shortly after, pipe organ service work
eclipsed all other areas of endeavor. In time the businesses
were split, leaving Foley-Baker, Inc., strictly dedicated
to quality services for pipe organs under the leadership
of Mike Foley.
Business spread throughout the Northeast. Our staff
continued to grow and yet another building was acquired,
this one in Tolland Connecticut. This newest location
is little more than an hour from Boston where we have
been honored to recondition and maintain some of that
city’s largest and finest instruments.
Today our work remains concentrated in and around the
Northeast where we maintain 250 pipe organs; however,
we are often contacted for specialized work on instruments
throughout America. We pride ourselves on a business-like
approach to quality pipe organ services.
Foley-Baker could not exist without its
sizable crew dedicated to the craft of pipe organ repair
and maintenance. Our senior staff members have been with
us for many years and they, in turn, train newer employees
in our traditions. Their commitment, which makes possible
all of our quality services, is the best value we can
offer.
